I’ve been creating art for most of my life, spending over twenty years drawing and painting. I’m influenced by Impressionists like Monet and Art Nouveau artists such as Alphonse Mucha, and I’m drawn to the feeling an image leaves behind rather than perfection or spectacle.
I also play piano, which has shaped the way I think about rhythm, pacing, and letting things unfold naturally—an approach that carries into my photography.
I grew up in Woodland Park, Colorado, surrounded by forests and wildlife. That early connection to nature taught me to pay attention to details and notice the small things that often go unseen.
At home, I enjoy hands-on, patient practices like tending to plants, baking sourdough, brewing beer, fermenting kombucha and ginger soda, and growing mushrooms. These are small ways of staying grounded and engaged in the process.
I share my life with my partner, Michael—we’re getting married this year—and I’m supported by close family and friends. I’m inspired by storytelling, philosophy, and imaginative worlds, from Dostoevsky and Solzhenitsyn to D&D, Magic: The Gathering, and The Legend of Zelda.
For me, photography is about capturing moments that feel real and meaningful. This space reflects how I see the world: with curiosity, care, and a belief that thoughtful, intentional images matter.
